Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document is Part 3 of GB/T 17529 "Acrylic acids and esters for industrial use". GB/T 17529 has published the following parts.

---Part 1. Acrylic acid for industrial use;

---Part 2. Methyl acrylate for industrial use;

---Part 3. Ethyl acrylate for industrial use;

---Part 4. n-Butyl acrylate for industrial use;

---Part 5. 2-ethylhexyl acrylate for industrial use.

This document replaces GB/T 17529.3-1998 "Industrial Ethyl Acrylate". Compared with GB/T 17529.3-1998, except for structural adjustments In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:1998 edition);

b) Added appearance requirements and test methods (see 4.1 and 5.1);

c) Product grading was cancelled, and first-class product indicators were deleted (see Table 1 of the:1998 edition);

d) Changed the colorimetric index requirements (see Table 1, Table 1 of the:1998 edition);

e) Added the tristimulus colorimetric method for colorimetry (see 5.3.2);

f) Added inspection rules (see Chapter 6).

Introduction

GB/T 17529 includes product standards for industrial acrylic acid and esters, which are formulated based on many years of production experience in industrial acrylic acid and esters.

It is determined and updated and improved with the development and maturity of analytical technology and the universality of inspection project requirements. GB/T 17529 consists of 5 Partial composition.

---Part 1. Acrylic acid for industrial use. The purpose is to establish product classification, requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for industrial acrylic acid and marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

---Part 2. Methyl acrylate for industrial use. The purpose is to establish the requirements, test methods and inspection rules for industrial methyl acrylate and marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

---Part 3. Ethyl acrylate for industrial use. The purpose is to establish the requirements, test methods and inspection rules for industrial ethyl acrylate and marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

---Part 4. n-Butyl acrylate for industrial use. The purpose is to establish the requirements, test methods and inspection of n-butyl acrylate for industrial use. Rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage.

---Part 5. 2-ethylhexyl acrylate for industrial use. The purpose is to establish the requirements and test methods for 2-ethylhexyl acrylate for industrial use. laws, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ethyl acrylate for industrial use.

This document applies to industrial ethyl acrylate produced by the esterification reaction of acrylic acid and ethanol.

Note: The molecular formula of ethyl acrylate is C5H8O2, the structural formula is as follows, and the relative molecular mass is 100.12 (according to the 2022 international relative atomic mass).
