3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Raw gas
Not desulfurization decarbonization of the gas.
3.2 Purified gas
After desulfurization and decarbonization of the gas.
3.3 Total alkalinity fraction
The total amount of substances capable of neutralizing with strong acids in the alcohol amine solution is expressed as the mass fraction of N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA).
3.4 Desulfurization and decarbonization performance
The ability of an alkanolamine solution to remove H 2 S and CO 2 from the gas is usually calculated by taking the H 2 S and CO 2 removal rates or their contents in the clean gas
