Scope

GB/T 35113-2017 is the English-translated version of 稳定性肥料.

GB/T 35113-2017 is the product standard for stabilized fertilizer.

Clause 1 states that it specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage for such fertilizer, and that it applies to nitrogen fertilizers, including those containing amide nitrogen or ammonium nitrogen, to which urease inhibitors and/or nitrification inhibitors have been added, with the proviso that a fertilizer carrying a urease inhibitor must contain urea.

The same clause states the exclusions: the standard does not apply to fertilizers produced by altering the structure of the fertilizer or by coating the fertilizer granules, nor to fertilizers whose only nitrogen source is nitrate nitrogen.

Clause 3 defines stabilized fertilizer as a nitrogenous fertilizer, including nitrogen-containing binary or ternary compound fertilizers and elemental nitrogen fertilizers, to which a urease inhibitor and/or a nitrification inhibitor has been added by a given process so that, once applied to the soil, urea hydrolysis is inhibited and/or the nitrification of ammonium nitrogen is slowed; it further defines a urease inhibitor as a class of substances that slows urea hydrolysis by inhibiting soil urease activity for a period of time, and a nitrification inhibitor as a class of substances that slows the conversion of ammonium nitrogen to nitrate nitrogen by inhibiting nitrosomonase activity for a period of time.

Clause 2 cites, among others, GB/T 6678-2003, GB/T 6679 and GB/T 6680 on the sampling of chemical products in general and of solid and liquid products, GB/T 8170-2008 on the rounding of numerical values and the expression and judgement of limiting values, GB/T 8569 on the packaging of solid chemical fertilizers, GB 18382 on the content and requirements of fertilizer marking, GB/T 21633 on blended fertilizer (BB fertilizer) and HG/T 2843 on standard titration and reagent solutions for the chemical analysis of fertilizer products.

The standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and is administered by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Fertilizers and Soil Conditioners (SAC/TC 105). It was issued on 29 December 2017 and has applied since 1 July 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions stability of fertilizers, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to the addition of urease inhibitors and (or) nitrification inhibitors of nitrogen (including amido nitrogen/ammonium nitrogen) stability of fertilizer (urea added Fertilizer for enzyme inhibitors must contain urea).

This standard does not apply by changing the structure of fertilizer or fertilizer granules in the film and the production of fertilizer, nitrogen source is only nitrate nitrogen fertilizer.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1
