This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses redrafted Law Amendment uses ISO 25179:2010 "Determination of adhesive pressure-sensitive adhesive water or alkali solubility." this standard compared with ISO 25179:2010, the structural changes are as follows.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method of determination of pressure-sensitive adhesive solubility.

This standard applies to pressure-sensitive adhesives in aqueous solution or alkaline solution solubility determination.

4 Principle

The pressure-sensitive adhesive is coated on a substrate (such as PET, BOPP), after drying the solvent, a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape sample is made. In water or alkaline the solution was shaken pressure-sensitive adhesive tape samples, testing the quality of the adhesive loss, measured its solubility.
