3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 9008, GB/T 14666 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Ion Chromatography
Chromatography for the separation and detection of mixtures of cations and anions.
3.2 Eluent (eluent) eluent
The separation column holds the solvent that separates and dissolves the ionic components of the sample.
3.3 Gradient elution
The composition of the eluant or the flow of the eluent is continuously changed so that the species of ions in the sample are developed and eluted in a certain order.
3.4 Pre-column pre-colunm
For the sample ion concentration of species components, pre-separation and removal of foreign matter, placed in front of the injection valve column.
3.5 Separation column
It has the purpose of separating the ionic species components of the sample to be separated.
3.6 Eluate
Liquid from the separation column as it is unrolled by mobile phase (eluent).
