GB/T 34634-2017 belongs to the geometrical product specifications (GPS) family and governs the choice of measuring instrument for the linear sizes of plain workpieces from 500 mm to 10 000 mm.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the smooth workpiece size (500mm ~ 10000mm) acceptance principles, acceptance limits, measurement equipment selection principles, measurement The measurement uncertainty of the device allows the value and arbitration.
This standard applies to product processing, final inspection and other processes, the tolerance level of 1 to 18 (IT1 ~ IT18), nominal size 500mm ~ 10000mm smooth workpiece size inspection.
This standard also applies to the general tolerances, extending the size of the tolerance test.
