Scope
GB/T 34631-2017 is the English-translated version of 再制造 机械零件剩余寿命评估指南.
GB/T 34631-2017 gives guidelines for assessing the residual life of mechanical components before they are remanufactured.
Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the basic principles, the general requirements and the commonly used assessment methods for the remaining life assessment of mechanical parts before remanufacturing, that it applies to the remaining life assessment of remanufactured mechanical parts, and that the remaining life evaluation of other mechanical parts may refer to it.
Clause 3 takes the definitions of GB/T 28619 and adds one of its own, the residual life of remanufactured mechanical parts, explained as the redundant life left in recycled scrap parts: part of that redundancy arises because unequal design leaves the design life unconsumed, and part of it arises from the strength redundancy produced by a greater safety factor on the design life.
Clause 4 sets the basic criteria for the assessment, covering the effect of the manufacture, service and failure mode of the part and the collection of the corresponding manufacturing, service status and fault information as basic data; the determination of an assessment programme and its use in guiding remanufacturing production; the combination of lossy and non-destructive evaluation methods according to actual needs and to the failure causes and re-service conditions of the case; the preference for non-destructive testing on key and important parts; and the weighing of cost-effectiveness when a life assessment method is applied.
Clause 5 holds the general requirements, which cover avoiding damage from pre-treatment to the parts and to the evaluation equipment, avoiding further injury during the storage, turnover, installation and commissioning of parts under assessment, the measurement requirements, accuracy and stability of the evaluation equipment, specialised training for the assessment staff, and the documenting and archiving of the assessment process as a basis for subsequent processing.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 28619. The draft on the page stops at the end of clause 5, so the commonly used assessment methods announced in clause 1 are not shown. It was issued on 14 October 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic principles of the remaining life assessment of mechanical parts before remanufacturing, general requirements and commonly used assessment methods.
This standard applies to the remaining life of remanufactured mechanical parts assessment, the remaining life of other mechanical parts evaluation may refer to the implementation of this standard.
2 Normative references
The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 28619 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Remaining machinery parts remaining life
Remanufactured production of recycled scrap parts with redundant life. Part of the redundant parts of the redundant life is due to unequal design Resulting in the life of the design life is not consumed; the other part of the redundant parts life is the design life of a greater safety factor The resulting redundancy of intensity.
4 Remanufacturing residual life assessment of the basic criteria
4.1 pairs of mechanical parts remaining life assessment should be considered its manufacturing, service and failure of the form of impact should be collected mechanical parts manufacturing Arts, service status and fault information, to provide the basic data for the remaining life assessment.
4.2 pairs of mechanical parts remaining life assessment should determine the assessment program, and the assessment program to guide the remanufacturing of mechanical parts production.
4.3 The establishment of evaluation programs based on actual needs, combined with the use of lossy and non-destructive evaluation methods.
4.4 The assessment plan should be based on the specific assessment of the failure of incentives and re-service conditions to determine the job.
4.5 remanufacturing production of key and important parts of the remaining life assessment work, the preferred method of nondestructive testing to characterize the customs Key and the importance of the deterioration rate of the parameters.
4.6 Cost-effectiveness should be considered when applying life-assessment methodology.
5 Residual life assessment of the general requirements
5.1 For parts with pretreatment requirements, the pretreatment process should be avoided to cause damage to remanufactured parts and evaluation equipment.
5.2 life assessment remanufactured parts storage, turnover, installation, commissioning, etc., should be avoided again injury.
5.3 Evaluation equipment should meet the measurement requirements of the state regulations, to maintain equipment accuracy and stability.
5.4 Life assessment staff should be specialized training.
5.5 The life assessment process should be documented and archived as a basis for subsequent processing.
