1 Scope

China's national rules for filling cylinders with gas mixtures. It specifies the terms and definitions, the basic conditions for a mixed gas filling station, the personnel requirements, the equipment and technical requirements, the filling operation itself, the emergency management, and the packaging, marking and storage. Filling a mixture is a different operation from filling a pure gas, and more can go wrong. The composition has to be right, because the customer will use the mixture as a calibration standard, a welding shield, a laser fill or a medical gas, and in each of those an error in composition is an error in whatever the mixture is used for.
