a) Added requirements for "sampling" (see 4.1);

b) The requirements for preparing the standard paste have been changed (see 4.2, 3.2 in the 2010 edition);

c) The method of performance measurement has been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the 2010 edition).

1 Scope

This document describes the sample preparation and testing methods for determining the properties of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, and specifies the sample condition adjustment procedures.

The section requires that the appropriate and necessary properties and test methods for characterizing PVC resins be listed.

This document applies to both homopolymer and copolymer vinyl chloride resins.
