Scope
GB/T 33911-2017 is the English-translated version of 4XXX系铝合金圆铸锭.
GB/T 33911-2017 is the Chinese national standard for 4xxx aluminium alloy columniform (round) ingots made by semi-continuous casting.
It sets the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport, storage, quality certificate and the content of the order or contract; the type, grade, temper and size of the ingot follow Table 1, and other grades and sizes may be agreed between supplier and purchaser.
Annex A describes the production and control process. It applies to 4xxx aluminium alloy round ingots intended for extrusion, forging and other working methods, and takes its terms and definitions from GB/T 8005.1 and GB/T 26492.1.
It cites GB/T 1196, GB/T 3190, GB/T 3199, GB/T 3246.1, GB/T 3246.2, GB/T 7999, GB/T 8170, GB/T 17432, GB/T 20975 (all parts), GB/T 26492.1, GB/T 27677 and the YS/T series on wrought aluminium ingots, melt treatment and master alloys.
It carries ICS 77.150.10 and Chinese classification H61, was issued on 12 July 2017 and has applied since 1 June 2018.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the semi-continuous casting of 4 × × × system of aluminum alloy ingot requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transport Loss, storage, quality certificate and order (or contract) content.
This standard applies to extrusion, forging and other processing methods with 4 × × × Department of aluminum alloy ingot (hereinafter referred to as round ingot), production and control Refer to Appendix A for the process.
