Scope
GB/T 33905.3-2017 is the English-translated version of 智能传感器 第3部分:术语.
GB/T 33905.3-2017 is the terminology part of the five-part GB/T 33905 series on intelligent (smart) sensors.
It defines the general terms, the classification terms, the manufacturing technical terms, the functional terms, the materials terms and the performance characteristics terms used for intelligent sensors, and is meant for the production of intelligent sensors and for scientific research, teaching and related technical fields.
The classification terms are organised by the quantity measured, starting from the physical-quantity intelligent sensor and the mechanical-quantity intelligent sensor.
It notes that intelligent sensors built from micro-electromechanical system components, or used in special environments such as explosive gas atmospheres, need other national standards as well.
It cites GB/T 7665-2005 and closes with a bibliography and an index. It was issued on 12 July 2017 and has applied since 1 February 2018.

Foreword
GB/T 33905 "smart sensor" is divided into five parts.
- Part 1. General; Part 2. Application rules for Internet of Things;
- Part 3. Terminology;
- Part 4. Performance assessment methods;
- Part 5. Guidelines for inspection and routine testing.
This part is part 3 of GB/T 33905.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 33905.3 defines general terms for smart sensors, classification terms, manufacturing technical terms, functional terms, materials Language and performance characteristics and related terms.
This section applies to the production of smart sensors, scientific research, teaching and other related technical fields.
For some intelligent sensors (such as chemical analyzers, flowmeters, etc.) made of microelectromechanical system components and are expected to be used in special environments (Such as explosive gas environment) the use of intelligent sensors, need to refer to other relevant national standards.
2 Normative reference documents
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.
General terms for sensors
3 General terms
3.1 Sensor
A device or device that can be sensed and converted to an available output signal in accordance with certain rules, typically consisting of a sensing element and a switching element composition. [GB/T 7665-2005, definition 3.1.1]
Note 1. sensinge (sensing) refers to the sensor can directly feel or respond to the measured part.
Note 2. A transducingelement that refers to a measure that can be sensed or responded to by a sensor in a sensor that is suitable for transmission or measurement Signal part.
Note 3. When the output is a standard signal, it is called transmitter.
3.2 Intelligent sensor
A two-way communication means with an external system, a sensor for transmitting measurement, status information, receiving and processing an external command.
Note: The smart sensor is a sensor that contains the information processing device, which is an indispensable part of the smart sensor.
4 Intelligent sensor classification terms
4.1 Smart sensor terms classified by measurement
4.1.1 Physical quantity smart sensor
Can perceive the physical quantity and convert it into an intelligent sensor that can use the output signal.
4.1.1.1 Mechanical quantity intelligent sensor
A smart sensor that senses the amount of power and converts it into an available output signal.
