Scope

GB/T 33903-2017 is the English-translated version of 散射辐射测量用遮光球式全自动太阳跟踪器.

GB/T 33903-2017 is the Chinese national specification for the shading ball automatic sun tracker used when diffuse solar radiation is measured.

It defines scattered radiation, tracking error, the snap angle - the largest angle between direct sunlight and the sensor axis at which the sensor still senses the sun, with a direct irradiance of 120 W/m² or more - the capture speed and the shading angle.

It then fixes fourteen technical requirements, among them the operating temperature range, power supply adaptability and consumption, insulation resistance and dielectric strength, tracking and timing error, load capacity, capture angle and speed, blocking angle, shading ball diameter, surface treatment, degree of protection and corrosion resistance, with a test method for each.

It applies to the development, production and inspection of trackers. Issued on 12 July 2017, it has applied since 1 February 2018.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the main technical indicators of the shading ball automatic sun tracker (hereinafter referred to as tracker) for scattered radiation measurement. Inspection method, identification and packaging requirements.

This standard applies to the development, production and inspection of trackers.

2 Normative reference documents

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.

GB/T 4208 enclosure protection class (IP code)

GB/T 6458 metal coating neutral salt spray test (NSS test)

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Scattered radiation

Solar radiation is dispersed by air molecules, clouds and air in a variety of particles dispersed in a non-directional, but does not change its monochromatic composition of radiation. [GB/T 31163-2014, definition 5.14]

3.2 Tracking error

When the tracker tracks the sun, the tracker's sun sensor axis is at an angle to the sun's direct light.

3.3 Snap angle

In the case of direct solar radiation irradiance greater than or equal to 120W/m², the tracker's sensor can effectively sense the sun's position, The maximum angle between the direct sunlight and the sensor axis.

3.4 Capture speed

In the range of the capture angle, the tracker uses the photoelectric tracking mode to accurately find the tracking angular velocity of the sun position.

3.5 Shading angle

The shading angle formed by the shading ball on the center of the total radiation table sensor carried by the tracker. see picture 1.
