GB/T 33751-2017 is the English-translated version of 工业企业和园区循环经济标准体系编制通则.
GB/T 33751-2017 explains how an industrial enterprise or an industrial park builds the system of standards for its circular economy. It gives the principles and requirements for such a system, its hierarchical structure and the format in which it is written.
It defines reduction, the cutting of resource consumption and of waste in production, distribution and consumption; reuse, in which waste serves again as a product or is repaired, refurbished or remanufactured; resource recycling, in which waste is used as raw material; circular economy as the whole of these activities; circular economy standardization; and the standard system itself, the standards of the field ordered by their internal relations.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard stipulates the principles and requirements of the industrial enterprises and the circular economy standard system of the park, the hierarchical structure, the preparation format.
This standard applies to the industrial enterprises and the park circular economy standard system, other types of enterprises and parks can refer to the implementation.

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Reduction
Reduce resource consumption and waste generation during production, distribution and consumption.
3.2 Reuse
The waste is directly used as a product or is repaired, refurbished, remanufactured and continues to be used as a product, or all or part of the waste Used as part of other products.
3.3 Resource recycle
Waste is used directly as a raw material or recycled for waste.
3.4 Circular economy
In the production, circulation and consumption of the process of reduction, re-use, resource-based activities in general.

3.5 Circular economy standardization
In the field of circular economy, in order to obtain the best order, the actual or potential problems to develop common and reusable terms of the activities.
3.6 Recycling economy standard system
