Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 33726-2017 "General Chinese Names of Musical Instruments". Compared with GB/T 33726-2017, the main differences are structural adjustments and... Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) A chapter on "Classification" has been added, and the "General Rules" section has been removed (see Chapter 4,

4.1 of the.2017 edition);

b) Change the Chinese and English names of the musical instrument "guqin" to "qin" (see Table 1,.2017 edition);

c) The Chinese and English names of the musical instruments "tianqin" and "yuehu" have been added (see Table 1);

d) Change the English name of the instrument "tubularbels" to "chimes" (see Table 2,.2017 edition);

e) Change the Chinese and English names of the musical instruments "marimba, xylophone" to "xylophone (marimba)". (marimba) (see Table 2,.2017 edition);

f) Added the following instruments to the repertoire. "jaw harp", "steeltonguedrum", "handpan", and "diaocha". English names (see Table 2);

g) Change the English name of the instrument "drumset" to "jazzdrum" (see Table 3,.2017 edition);

h) The Chinese and English names of the instruments "djembe" and "tenordrum" have been added (see Table 3);

i) Change the Chinese name of the instrument "bass saxophone" to "bass saxophone". Change to "supreme bass saxophone" and "bass bass" to "double bass oboe" (see Table 4,.2017 edition).

j) Change the English names of the French horn and saxophone from "Frenchhorn" to "horn" and "sax" to be more... Change to "saxophone" (see Table 4,.2017 edition);

k) Added the middle registers of the following instruments. baritonehorn, flugelhorn, guanzi, and kazoo. English names (see Table 4);
