Scope
GB/T 33692-2017 is the English-translated version of 直接辐射测量用全自动太阳跟踪器.
GB/T 33692-2017 sets the requirements for the automatic solar trackers that carry the instruments measuring direct solar radiation.
It fixes eleven technical requirements - operating temperature range, power supply adaptability, power consumption, insulation resistance and dielectric strength, tracking error, timing error, load capacity, capture angle, capture speed, enclosure protection class and corrosion resistance - and gives a test method for each of them.
Clauses on marking and packing close the document, and a normative annex describes the special tool used to check the tracking error. Clause 3 defines direct radiation, tracking error, snap angle and capture speed.
The standard applies to the development, production and inspection of trackers and cites GB/T 4208, GB/T 6461-2002, GB/T 10125 and GB/T 15479-1995. Issued on 12 May 2017, it has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the direct technical requirements, test methods for automatic sun tracking (direct tracker) for direct radiation measurement. Knowledge and packaging requirements.
This standard applies to the development, production and inspection of trackers.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Direct radiation
From the surface and its surrounding a small solid angle emitted within the radiation.
In general, direct sunlight is measured by an instrument with a viewing angle of about 5 °. Thus, it includes a portion of the scattered radiation around the sun, ie Ring radiation, while the surface of the field of view angle is only about 0.5 °. [GB/T 31163-2014, definition 5.11]
3.2 Tracking error
When the tracker tracks the sun, the tracker's sun sensor axis is at an angle to the sun's direct light.
3.3 Snap angle
In the case of direct solar radiation irradiance greater than or equal to 120W/m², the tracker's sensor can effectively sense the sun's position, The maximum angle between the direct sunlight and the sensor axis.
3.4 Capture speed
In the range of the capture angle, the tracker uses the photoelectric tracking mode to accurately find the tracking angular velocity of the sun position.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Operating temperature range
Should meet the following requirements. […]
