Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document supersedes GB/T 33658-2017 "Requirements and Evaluation Methods for Indoor Human Thermal Comfort Environment" and is consistent with GB/T 33658-2017.
Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---The formula for calculating the evaluation score of vertical air temperature difference has been changed (see 4.1.3,.2017 version 4.1.3);
---The threshold for the local equivalent temperature of the warm-body dummy has been increased to avoid localized discomfort in the human body (see 4.2.2);
---The formula for calculating the evaluation score of the warm-body dummy has been changed (see 4.2.1, 4.2.3, and 4.2 in the.2017 version);
---The weights of comfort indicators for both cooling and heating modes have been changed (see 6.1,.2017 version of 6.1).

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 40288 and ISO 7730, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1
thermal environment
Environmental characteristics that affect heat exchange in the human body.
3.2
thermal comfort
It indicates the degree of subjective satisfaction with the thermal environment and is assessed through subjective evaluation.
3.3
Predicted mean vote
PMV
The average value of the votes cast by a large sample of people using a 7-point thermal sensation scale (see Table 1).
