Scope

GB/T 33622-2017 is the English-translated version of 软质泡沫聚合材料低温柔性试验方法.

GB/T 33622-2017 is the Chinese test for the low-temperature flexibility of flexible cellular polymeric materials, that is of soft polymer foams.

The specimen is held at a specified low temperature for a specified time, then wound round a mandrel and bent through 180 °, and the damage it shows afterwards is taken as the measure of how flexible the material is in the cold.

Clause 5 covers the apparatus: any low-temperature chamber able to hold the test conditions of 8.1 may be used, with a restriction where dry ice is the refrigerant.

Conditioning and testing follow the standard atmosphere of GB/T 2918-1998, and linear dimensions are measured to GB/T 6342-1996. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

3.1 Low temperature flexibility
