Scope
GB/T 33557-2017 is the English-translated version of 地面数字电视测试用码流规范.
GB/T 33557-2017 specifies the technical requirements for the transport stream used when terrestrial digital television is tested, called the test bit stream in the document.
It applies to the transport stream used in testing terrestrial digital television terminal products. The multiplexing and the interface of the test stream have to follow GB/T 17975.1-2010, and the data rate is fixed against the system payload data rate specified in GB 20600-2006.
For video, streams used for decoding evaluation follow GB/T 17975.2-2000, and those for AVS decoding evaluation follow GB/T 20090.2-2013; for audio the requirement is MPEG-1 Layer II.
Terms and definitions are taken from SJ/T 11324-2006. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the transport stream used in the terrestrial digital television test process (hereinafter referred to as "test bit stream").
This standard applies to the transport stream used by the terrestrial digital TV terminal product testing process.

3 Terms and definitions
SJ/T 11324-2006 Definitions of terms and definitions apply to this document.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Transport stream multiplexing and interface
The transport stream reuse and interface of the test stream shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 17975.1-2010.
4.2 Transport Stream Data Rate
The data rate of the transport stream for the test stream shall conform to the system payload data rate specified in GB 20600-2006, Should be greater than 5%.
4.3 Video encoding
The test stream for non-video decoding evaluation shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 17975.2-2000.
The test stream for MPEG-2 video decoding evaluation should be in accordance with GB/T 17975.2-2000 for test purposes.
The test stream for AVS video decoding evaluation should be in accordance with GB/T 20090.2-2013 according to the test application.
4.4 Audio coding
The test stream for non-audio decoding evaluation shall comply with the requirements of MPEG-1 Layer II in ISO /IEC 157975.3-2002.
