GB/T 33546-2017 is the English-translated version of 电磁搅拌器通用技术条件.

GB/T 33546-2017 is the Chinese general specification for electromagnetic stirrers, the machines that use the electromagnetic force induced in a conductive liquid to set it in regular motion.

It covers the terms and definitions, the product model designation and its meaning, the service conditions, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, marking and the instruction manual, and packaging, transport and storage.

Two normative annexes add a check of the thermal stability temperature difference of the winding and the cooling water and a check of the electromagnetic force.

It applies to stirrers for the continuous casting of steel and to stirrers for steel, aluminium and copper melting furnaces, and other stirrers may be handled by reference to it. It was issued on 9 March 2017 and has applied since 1 February 2018.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the electromagnetic stirrer, product type, conditions of use, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking And instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to all kinds of continuous casting steel (continuous casting) electromagnetic stirrer and steel, aluminum, copper melting furnace electromagnetic stirrer, other electromagnetic stirring Mixer can refer to the implementation.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 2900.1, GB/T 2900.18 The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.

3.1 Electromagnetic stirrer

Electromagnetic force (Lorentz force) induced by the electromagnetic field in the conductive liquid, the device that drives the conductive liquid for regular motion is called electromagnetic Stirrer.

3.2 Continuous casting electromagnetic stirrer

Used in the continuous casting production line of electromagnetic stirrer.
