Scope

GB/T 32802-2016 is the English-translated version of 土方机械 再制造零部件 出厂验收技术规范.

China's national standard for the factory acceptance of remanufactured earth-moving machinery components. It specifies the acceptance requirements applied before a remanufactured part leaves the works, and it applies to that acceptance. Factory acceptance is the point at which a remanufactured component stops being a repaired old part and becomes a product, and it is the reason the whole remanufacturing series was written. A purchaser buying a remanufactured final drive or hydraulic pump is buying something whose history they cannot see: the housing may have run for twenty thousand hours, the shaft may have been built up and reground, and none of that is visible from outside. What the purchaser can rely on is the acceptance the remanufacturer performed and documented before shipping, which is why this standard sets out what that acceptance must include rather than leaving it to each works. Every remanufactured part is to be inspected before it goes out, and the inspection covers at least the appearance, the identification and marking, and the accompanying factory documents, alongside the performance checks appropriate to the component. Marking matters more here than in new manufacture, because a remanufactured part must be identifiable as such throughout its second life and traceable back to the works that restored it. The standard draws its terminology from GB/T 28619, its handling and delivery marks from GB/T 191 and GB/T 6388, and its packaging requirements from JB/T 5947 for construction machinery. Issued on 29 August 2016 and in force since 1 March 2017.
