Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 32765-2016 "Bohai Black Cattle". 1 Scope

GB/T 32765-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the Bohai black cattle of Shandong - a small local breed with a black coat, black hooves and black muzzle, kept for draught and now for beef. The standard fixes the appearance and markings, the body measurements by age and sex, the growth and production performance and the requirements for a registered animal. It replaces GB/T 32765-2016 and has been in force since 1 September 2026. It was issued on 27 February 2026 and has been in force since 1 September 2026, replacing GB/T 32765-2016. 4.Variety Origin and Characteristics Bohai Black Cattle is a local breed of yellow cattle in my country, named after its place of origin, which borders the Bohai Sea. 5.Body shape and appearance The Bohai Black Cattle are covered entirely in black or dark brown hair, with black hooves, horns, muzzle, and tongue. 6 Production performance

6.1 Body measurements and weight The body size and weight of bulls and cows at different growth stages should meet the requirements of Table 1 and Table 2.

7 Rating

7.1 Basic Requirements The cattle should have a clear origin, no genetic defects, conform to the breed's physical characteristics, and be in good health.

7.2 Assessment of Body Shape and Appearance Score body shape and appearance according to Table 3, and grade body shape and appearance according to Table 4.

7.3 Body Size Assessment According to Table 5, the body size grade is determined by the lowest grade among the three indicators. height, body length, and chest circumference.

7.4 Weight Assessment Weight class assessment shall be conducted according to Table 6.
