GB/T 32481-2026 is the English-translated version of 隧道照明用LED灯具性能规范.

GB/T 32481-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the tunnel luminaire - the extreme luminance needed at a portal in daylight and the deep dimming in the interior, the glare control, the resistance to vibration, dust and washing, and the maintained output in a fitting nobody wants to close a tunnel to replace. It replaces GB/T 32481-2016 and has been in force since 1 November 2026, with the street lighting standard GB/T 24827-2026. 5 General Requirements

5.1 The luminaires shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 4 and

5.6 of GB/T 31897.1-2025.

5.2 The luminaires shall be able to function properly under the claimed conditions.

5.3 The safety of luminaires shall comply with the provisions of GB 7000.203.

5.4 The electromagnetic compatibility of luminaires shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 17743, GB 17625.1 and GB/T 18595.

5.5 The safety and performance of the light source and components supplied with the luminaire shall comply with the requirements of their applicable national standards.

5.6 To meet the requirements of this document, the specified sample size must satisfy all requirements.

6.1.1 Markings on lamps

6.1.1.1 The following electrical parameters shall be marked.

---Rated power supply voltage;

---Rated input power;

---Rated standby power (if applicable).

6.1.1.2 The following photometric parameters should be labeled.

---Rated luminous flux of the luminaire;

---Luminous efficiency of lamps.

6.1.1.3 For luminaires with adjustable LED module positions, the adjustment position should be clearly marked near the adjustment device.

6.1.1.4 For luminaires with adjustable elevation angles, the adjustment angle should be marked on the adjustment device.

6.1.1.5 For luminaires with asymmetrical longitudinal light distribution along the road, the housing shall be marked with markings and text descriptions indicating that the luminaire is installed along the direction of vehicle travel.

Note. For an introduction to symmetrical and asymmetrical lighting for tunnel lighting fixtures, please refer to Appendix C.

6.1.2 Product Information

6.1.2.1 The product sample book or instruction manual shall include at least the contents specified in

6.1.2.2 to 6.1.2.12.

6.1.2.2 The information specified in Table 1, Chapter 4 of GB/T 31897.201-2025, including numbers b and f~l, shall be indicated, including.

---Photometric code;

---Light flux maintenance code;

---Initial and maintained rated chromaticity coordinate values;

---Rated correlated color temperature (CCT, K);

---Rated general color rendering index (Ra);

---Rated ambient temperature (tq) related to luminaire performance;

---Rated luminous efficacy (lm/W);

---Refining time, if not 0h.

6.1.2.3 The applicable control device model and specifications and its corresponding manufacturer shall be indicated.

6.1.2.4 The applicable LED module model and specifications and its corresponding manufacturer should be indicated.

6.1.2.5 For luminaires with replaceable LED modules, the replacement method should be explained. If bolts are used for fixing, the tightening method should be indicated in the instruction manual. 6.2 Energy Saving Evaluation

6.2.1 General Rules It should meet the manufacturer's claimed applicable luminance and uniformity in the middle segment, and satisfy the standard limits for threshold increments. Requirements for lighting power density. The conformity is checked by

6.2.2 Tunnel Lighting Quality The average road surface light intensity should be calculated based on the measured spatial photometric distribution data of the luminaires and the luminaire installation conditions claimed in the manufacturer's instructions. 6.2.3 Lighting power density The power density value of tunnel pavement lighting should not exceed the value specified in Table 3.

6.11 Weight The weight of a single luminaire (including bracket and controller) should not exceed 15kg, but should not exceed 20kg.

6.12 Operating ambient temperature It should be able to work normally under conditions of -40°C to 45°C. If the ambient temperature of the area where the product is used exceeds the above-mentioned range, it should be able to operate normally at the marked limit temperature.

6.13 Luminous flux maintenance Luminaires using LED modules that demonstrate compliance with GB/T 24823-2024 (see 4.2) do not need to provide samples for this test. 6.14 Correlated color temperature, chromaticity coordinates, and color rendering index

6.15 Durability

6.15.1 Temperature Cycling It should comply with the requirements of Chapter 5 of GB/T 33721-2026.

6.15.2 Power Switch It should comply with the requirements of Chapter 6 of GB/T 33721-2026.

6.15.3 Accelerate service life It should comply with the requirements of Chapter 7 of GB/T 33721-2026.

6.16 Vibration It should comply with the requirements of Chapter 13 of GB/T 33721-2026.

6.17 Performance rating of luminaires Lighting fixtures should be classified into Grade A, Grade B, or Grade C according to their performance level. The relevant requirements for Grade A, Grade B, or Grade C shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.

7.1 Inspection of lamp markings

7.1.1 Markings on lamps The marking test shall be conducted according to the method specified in

3.4 of GB/T 7000.1-2023.The marking content shall be visually inspected.

7.1.2 Inspection of product information requirements Visual inspection of the product information content.

7.2 Energy-saving evaluation and inspection

7.2.1 Measure the photometric distribution data of the luminaires and calculate the quality level of road lighting provided by the luminaires. Measure the photometric distribution data of the luminaires according to the provisions of GB/T 9468. Based on the measured photometric distribution parameters of the luminaire and the installation conditions given in the manufacturer's instructions, in accordance with GB/T 24827-2026 The average road surface brightness maintenance value, overall road surface brightness uniformity, and longitudinal road surface brightness uniformity calculated in Appendix D are in accordance with Appendix E of this document. Note. The maintenance factor is determined according to the following method.

0.35 is suitable for situations involving improper materials and maintenance;

0.50 is suitable for ordinary materials and maintenance situations;

0.70 is suitable for situations requiring meticulous maintenance and high-quality materials;

--- Higher or lower values depend on the maintenance plan and material condition.

7.2.2 Calculate lighting power density The power at the input terminal of the luminaire, measured under the luminous intensity distribution test value within the rated voltage or rated voltage range, is expressed in watts (W). Based on the measured luminaire input power and the luminaire arrangement meeting the lighting quality conditions, calculations are performed according to Appendix F of GB/T 24827-2026. Calculate the lighting power density of the lamps.

7.3 Input Power and Power Factor Measurements should be taken at the power supply terminal of the luminaire if it has a manufacturer-specified control device (if required). Or, if a remote control device is used, Measured at the power supply terminal of the control device.

7.4 Standby Power The luminaire is powered on at its rated power. The input power of the luminaire is measured when it is in sleep mode (no light output).

7.5 Light Output

7.5.1 Luminous flux Measurements should be performed in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 9468.

7.5.2 Light Intensity Distribution The test shall be conducted according to the comparison method specified in Appendix B of GB/T 31897.1-2025.

Note. Appendix A of GB/T 31897.1-2025 specifies regional standard information for acceptable photometric data formats.

7.6 Luminous efficacy of luminaires The luminous efficacy of an LED lamp should be calculated by dividing the measured initial luminous flux of the LED lamp by the measured initial input power.

7.7 Dimming Adjust the luminous flux of the lamp from high to low according to the dimming control method claimed by the manufacturer, and monitor the light output of the lamp during the adjustment process. The output should vary continuously, ranging from 30% (or the minimum of the claimed dimming range) to 100%, or as claimed by the manufacturer.

7.8 Dustproof, protection against solid foreign objects, and waterproof Visually inspect the enclosure protection rating marked on the luminaire, and if necessary, test it according to the test methods specified in Chapter 9 of GB/T 7000.1-2023. Its qualification.

Note. The example that needs to be tested is when the IP rating verified in the safety inspection report of the lighting fixture is not IP65.

7.9 Types of corrosion protection for lighting fixtures The test should be conducted in accordance with the requirements of JB/T 9535.

7.10 Weight Weigh the lamps using standard weighing equipment.

7.11 Operating ambient temperature The compliance of the working environment temperature shall be tested in accordance with the following provisions.

---The lamps are placed in a constant temperature chamber, and a photometer is fixed at a specific position outside the chamber.

---The lamps were first turned on at an ambient temperature of 25°C until a stable light output was achieved. The relative luminous intensity value in a certain direction was then measured as the initial value. Initial value.

---After the temperature was kept constant at 45°C (or higher) and -40°C (or lower) for 2 hours, the relative [temperatures] in the same direction were [measured]. 7.12 Luminous flux maintenance The initial value of the tested optical output was set to 100%, which was used as the first data point to determine the lifetime. 7.14 Durability Test

7.14.1 Temperature Cycling Test The test shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 5 of GB/T 33721-2026.

7.14.2 Power switch test The test shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 6 of GB/T 33721-2026.

7.14.3 Accelerated service life test The test shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 7 of GB/T 33721-2026.

7.15 Vibration Test The test shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 13 of GB/T 33721-2026.
