3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Plastic optical fiber
With a high refractive index of the core polymer material and the low refractive index polymer cladding material of the optical fiber is constituted.
3.2 Optical fiber communication
Using light as an information carrier, an optical fiber as a medium of communication transmission.
3.3 Information collection terminal
The information collection point for information collection device, referred to as collection terminal.
3.4 The communication unit
Plastic optical fiber transmission system power information communication module or communication devices.
