1 Scope

GB/T 31455.5-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the messages between a BRT control centre and its buses - the position and status reports going up, the schedule adjustments, text and voice instructions going down, and the acknowledgement and recovery when a bus goes out of coverage. At 39,000 words it is the largest part of the series, because an interface specification is nothing but detail. It replaces GB/T 31455.5-2015. It was issued on 31 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, replacing GB/T 31455.5-2015. The document is under the responsibility of the Standardization Administration of China.
