This document is revised and adopted ISO 898-3:2018 "Mechanical properties of fasteners carbon steel and alloy steel fasteners - Part 3: Specified properties, etc:

The technical differences between this document and ISO 898-3:2018 and their reasons are as follows:

--- Replaced ISO 898-1 with the normatively quoted GB/T 3098.1 to adapt to the technical conditions of our country (see Chapter 1 and Table 1);

--- Replaced ISO 898-2 with the normatively cited GB/T 3098.2 to adapt to the technical conditions of our country (see Chapter 1 and Table 1);

Fastener Mechanical Properties Flat Washers

1 Scope

This document specifies bolts, screws, Mechanical and physical properties of flat washers for bolted connections of stud and nut combinations when tested at an ambient temperature of 10°C to 35°C:

Note 1: These types of flat washers can also be used with other fasteners, such as self-tapping screws:

When tested at an ambient temperature of 10°C to 35°C, flat washers complying with the requirements of this document are subject to high and/or low temperature the stated mechanical and physical properties may not be maintained:

Note 2: The applicable operating temperature for flat washers that meet the requirements of this document is -50°C to 150°C: When the operating temperature exceeds -50°C~150°C, even high when the temperature reaches 300 °C, it is recommended that the user consult the relevant experts:
