GB/T 30650-2014 is the English-translated version of 矿脂防蚀带低温可操作性检测方法.
GB/T 30650-2014 is the Chinese national method for checking whether a petrolatum anticorrosion tape can still be applied when it is cold. It specifies the equipment used, the sampling, the conditioning and the test procedure, and what the test report must contain.
It applies to the workability of petrolatum tapes applied at ambient temperatures between -20 °C and 0 °C, which is when a wrapping that behaves well in summer can crack or fail to stick.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the detection of petrolatum corrosion test methods for low temperature operability with resistance equipment, sampling, test panels, test step, the results of assessment Set and test reporting requirements.
This standard applies to petrolatum corrosion tape at an ambient temperature of -20 °C ~ 0 °C construction detection adaptability.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Petrolatum corrosion with petrolatumtape
Non-woven fabric as a carrier, the compound containing rust inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, thickeners, lubricants, mineral fillers, etc. specially prepared fat immersed Strip corrosion material.
3.2 Low temperature operability
Petrolatum tape corrosion at low temperatures (-20 °C ~ 0 °C) whether the normal construction performance.
3.3 Peel strength
The unit width of petrolatum with anticorrosive metal sheet is peeled from the surface parallel to the force required.
4 Reagents and materials
4.1 Acetone or ethanol. AR
4.2 plate. in line with GB/T 9271 carbon steel plate with dimensions of 125mm x 50mm x 1.5mm ~ 2.0mm.
