1 Scope

4 Reagents and materials
4.1 Carrier gas
helium, purity >=99.999%.
4.2 Dilution solvent
methyl ethyl ketone, purity >=98% (mass fraction) or known purity.
4.3 Calibration compound
dibutyl phthalate (DBP), phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), di-iso-octyl phthalate (DEHP),
Octyl phthalate (DNOP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), purity >=98% (Mass fraction) or known purity.
4.4 standard stock solution
namely, accurately weighed amount of phthalates calibration compound (4.3) to prepare a concentration of methyl ethyl ketone (4.2) as
5000mg/L of standard stock solution.
4.5 mixed standard working solution
using serial dilution method, standard stock solution was diluted with methyl ethyl ketone (4.2) (4.4) to a concentration suitable for mixing
Standard working solution.
NOTE. The standard solution stored in the dark below 4 °C, standard stock solution is valid for six months, working standard solution is valid for three months.
