3.1.1 Home Control gateway

Home control network internal gateway.

3.1.2 Word

Constitute the set of bits of addressable storage smallest unit.

3.1.3 Bit

Digital binary number system used 0 or 1.

3.1.4 Byte

One kind by a number of bits of string treated as a unit usually represents a part of a character or characters.

Note 1. For a given data processing system is the number of bits in a byte fixed.
