Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 30194-2013 "Test Method for Rolling Circumference of Agricultural Tires". Compared with GB/T 30194-2013, except for the following.

Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The definition of "tire rolling circumference" has been removed, and the definition of "baseline speed" has been added (see 3.1, 2013 version 3.1);

---Added the drum method for measuring rolling circumference (see Chapter 4);

---The included items in the vehicle law test report have been changed (see 5.5, Chapter 8 of the 2013 edition);

---Other experimental conditions have been removed (see Chapter 9 of the 2013 edition);

---The accuracy and positioning requirements for the test apparatus have been increased (see Appendix C).

This document is modified to adopt ISO 11795:2018 "Rolling circumference index (RCI) and speed radius index of tires for agricultural tractors drive wheels".

Explanation of (SRI) and rolling circumference test method.

Compared with ISO 11795:2018, this document has undergone many structural adjustments. A table comparing the changes in structural numbering between the two documents is provided.

This document differs significantly from ISO 11795:2018 in several technical aspects. The relevant clauses are indicated in vertical margins.

The straight lines (|) are marked. A summary of these technical differences and their reasons can be found in Appendix B.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---Incorporates the revisions to ISO 11795:2018/Amd1.2022;

---To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Test Method for Rolling Circumference of Agricultural Tires";

---Appendix A (Informative) has been added, showing the comparison of this document's structural numbering with ISO 11795:2018;

---Appendix B (Informative) has been added, outlining the technical differences between this document and ISO 11795:2018 and the reasons for these differences.

1 Scope

This document describes a test method for measuring the rolling circumference of agricultural tractor and machinery tires under load conditions.

This document applies to new agricultural drive wheel tires with either a bias-ply or radial configuration.
