Foreword

This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Standard replaces GB/T 301-1995, Rolling Bearings - Thrust Ball Bearings - Boundary Dimensions. Compared with GB/T 301-1995, the main technical changes of this Standard are as follows.

-- it adds normative references, terms and definitions and codes (see Chapter 2, Chapter 3 and Chapter 5);

-- it modifies part of symbols and definitions (see Chapter 4; Chapter 2 of 1995);

-- it deletes the structural diagrams and dimensions tables (see Figure 3 to Figure 6 and Table 8 to Table 13 of Edition 1995);

-- it adds the types and dimensions of some bearings (see Table 1, Table 2 and Table 4 to Table 7); and -- it deletes the annex of "cross reference of structural type codes of old and new bearings" (see Annex A of Edition 1995).

1 Application Scope

This Standard specifies boundary dimensions of single-direction and double-direction thrust ball bearings which conform to GB/T 273.2. This Standard applies to design and selection of bearings.
