GB/T 30009-2026 is the English-translated version of 船舶能效设计指数计算方法.

This standard defines a calculation method for the energy efficiency design index of ships, the figure used to express the design energy efficiency of a vessel in relation to its transport work.

GB/T 30009-2026 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 28 September 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 January 2027.

This edition replaces GB/T 30009-2013.

It is under the responsibility of the Standardization Administration of China.
