Scope
GB/T 29636-2023 is the English-translated version of 疑似毒品中甲基苯丙胺检验.
GB/T 29636-2023 is the Chinese forensic method for identifying and measuring methamphetamine in suspected drug samples.
It gives qualitative identification by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, judged on retention time, characteristic ions or ion pairs and their abundance ratios, and quantification by gas or liquid chromatography from the chromatographic peak area using an external standard single-point method or a calibration curve; it also covers the principles, the reagents, instruments and materials, the analysis steps and the evaluation of results.
The reagents it names for the gas chromatographic work include methanol, acetonitrile, an acetonitrile-water extraction solvent, PSA and anhydrous sodium sulfate.
Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 6682 and GA/T 122. It replaces GB/T 29636-2013, was issued on 6 August 2023 and has applied since 1 March 2024.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 29636-2013 "Gas chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry of methamphetamine in suspected drugs" "Spectral Inspection Method", compared with GB/T 29636-2013, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Changed the "scope" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2013 edition);
---Added the principle of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method (see Chapter 4);
---Changed the reagents used in gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (see 5.1.1, 2013 version of 5.1.1);
---Added reagents, instruments and materials for liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis (see Chapter 5);
---Changed the sample preparation of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and gas chromatography (see 6.1, 6.2, 6.1, 7.1, 7.2 of the 2013 version);
---Added liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis method (see 7.1);
---Changed the liquid chromatography analysis method (see 7.2, 7.3 of the 2013 edition);
---Changed the "result evaluation" (see Chapter 8, Chapter 8 of the 2013 edition).
1 Scope

4 Principles
Extraction of methamphetamine in suspected drugs. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used for detection, with retention time, mass spectrum characteristic ions and The ion abundance ratio is used as the basis for qualitative judgment; liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry is used for detection, based on retention time, mass spectrum characteristic ion pair and ion pair abundance.
The ratio is used as the basis for qualitative judgment; gas chromatography is used for detection, and the chromatographic peak area (or peak area ratio) is used as the quantitative basis, and an external standard single point is used. method or internal standard standard curve method for quantitative analysis; liquid chromatography is used for detection, using the chromatographic peak area as the quantitative basis, and external standard single-point method Or external standard curve method for quantitative analysis.
