Scope
GB/T 29328-2018 is the English-translated version of 重要电力用户供电电源及自备应急电源配置技术规范.
GB/T 29328-2018 sets out how the power supply and the self-provided emergency power supply of important power users are to be configured.
It defines important power users and grades them, and gives configuration principles and technical requirements for the power supply and for self-provided emergency sources, including their types, configuration and operation.
Its terms define security load, main power supply, backup power supply and self-provided emergency power supply, the source that feeds the security load when both main and backup supplies are interrupted.
Informative annexes give the classification and range of important power users and typical configuration modes for both the power supply and the emergency supply.
It applies to important power users, and other power users may refer to it. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB /Z 29328-2012 "Technical Specifications for Power Supply and Self-contained Emergency Power Supply for Important Power Users". Compared with GB /Z 29328-2012, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Adjust and improve relevant requirements for power supply configuration requirements of important power users;
--- Supplement and improve the relevant content of emergency power supply operation and maintenance requirements for important power users;
--- Supplement and update the emergency power supply type, technical characteristics and emergency power supply configuration typical configuration mode;
---Adjust and improve the categories and scope of important power users;
--- Adjust and improve the main body and method of identifying important power.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the definition and grading of important power users, the configuration principles and main technical conditions of power supply and self-contained emergency power supply.
This standard applies to the configuration of power supply and self-contained emergency power supply for important power users.
Other power users' power supply and self-contained emergency power supply configuration can be referred to.

3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1.1 Security load
It is used to protect the electrical load required for the safety of people and property in the electricity field.
Note: It is generally believed that one of the following consequences after power failure is the security load.
a) directly causing personal injury or death;
b) spilling toxic and harmful substances, causing extensive environmental pollution;
c) will cause an explosion or fire;
d) will cause a large-scale social disorder or politically serious impact;
e) will cause damage to major production equipment or cause significant direct economic losses.
3.1.2 Main power supply
Under normal conditions, a power source that can effectively supply power to all loads.
3.1.3 Backup power
According to the actual needs of the user in terms of safety, service and production, the power supply reliability can be effective when the main power supply fails or is powered off. A power source that supplies power to all loads or security loads.
3.1.4 Self-provided emergency power supply
In the case that all the main and standby power supplies are interrupted, the user can provide independent power supply for the user's security load.
