1 Scope

This standard specifies thermal and thermal transfer barcode printers (hereinafter referred to as bar code printers) technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment process

Sequence, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to the design and manufacture of thermal and thermal transfer bar code printers. This standard is the basis for the development of product standards.
