Scope

GB/T 29021-2023 is the English-translated version of 石油天然气钻采设备 游梁式抽油机.

GB/T 29021-2023 covers beam pumping units for oil and gas production.

It sets the product forms and their codes, the way the model designation is written and the basic parameters, then the design requirements for the parts - the structural parts between the rope hanger and the reducer output shaft, the reducer with its gears, shafts, bearings, keys and fasteners, and the safety protection devices - followed by the manufacturing requirements, the inspection and test methods with the inspection and factory-inspection rules, and the requirements for marking, packaging and storage.

Annexes give a worked rated-torque calculation for the reducer gear set, installation dimensions and the matching of the prime mover. It cites GB/T 3480.5, GB/T 13799, GB/T 15753, SY/T 6518 and AGMA 908-B89.

It replaces GB/T 29021-2012, was issued on 27 November 2023 and has applied since 1 June 2024.
