Scope
GB/T 28797-2012 is the English-translated version of 室内塑料垃圾桶.
GB/T 28797-2012 covers indoor plastic trash bins.
Clause 1 states that it specifies their terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transport and storage, that it applies to plastic bins for household use and also to plastic trash bins used in offices and other indoor places, and that it does not apply to pierced trash baskets or barrels, nor to special municipal trash bins.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 2828.1-2003 and GB/T 19095.
Clause 3 carries three entries: one whose term name the draft does not print, defined as a watertight plastic container used indoors that can hold a certain amount of garbage, then rated volume, with nominal volume as its English form, and rated load, which is the product of the nominal volume and an average garbage density taken as 0.4 x 10^3 kg/m3.
Clause 4 classifies the bins by cover, into bins with and without a lid, the lidded ones divided into foot-operated and hand-operated flip types and the latter including swing and exposed covers, and adds a second classification in 4.2 whose wording the draft garbles.
Clause 5 Requirements opens with 5.1 Appearance, which asks that the bin be free of cracking and have a regular surface; the draft stops there, so the test methods, inspection rules and marking clauses announced in clause 1 are not shown.

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions interior plastic trash, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transport and Storage.
This standard applies to plastic bins for home use, but also for plastic trash offices and other indoor places to use.
This standard is not applicable Pierced trash baskets (barrels), and special municipal trash bin.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Can be stored and store a certain amount of garbage watertight plastic container used indoors.
3.2 Rated volume nominal volume
The volume of plastic trash that can be used indoors.
3.3 Rated load nominal load
The average density of garbage and interior plastic trash nominal volume of the product (kg), the average density of the garbage taken 0.4 x 10^3kg/m3.
4 Category
4.1 indoor plastic trash can lid and can be divided into plastic bins without cover. Plastic trash can with a lid can be divided foot flip, flip manually (for Including swing lid, exposing cover, etc.). No means no trash can lid cover everyday use, not hollow plastic trash.
