3 Terms and definitions, abbreviations

3.1 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1.1

Application Server spplicationserver Execution logic application-specific entity instances. MGC softswitch or can be seen as an application server, which is used to handle MTP layer 3 messages and terminates in call processing No.7 signaling link. Generally, SG is usually seen as a multi-AS Orderly queue correlation application server process (ASP) component (such as the first choice, second choice and so on).

Application server process Examples of processing the application server as a primary or backup MGC can generally be seen as an application server process.

3.1.3
