Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 28245-2012 "Noise Limits for Automatic Forging Presses". This document is consistent with GB/T 28245-2012. Aside from structural adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The noise limits for thread rolling machines have been changed (see 4.1,

3.1 in the 2023 version);

---The noise limits for spring coiling machines have been changed (see 4.2,

3.2 in the 2023 version);

---The noise limits for nail making machines have been changed (see 4.3,

3.3 in the 2023 version);

---Noise limits have been added for products such as automatic bolt upsetting machines, automatic nut upsetting machines, and multi-station parts forming machines. The noise limits have been modified. Noise limits for automatic upsetting forging machines (see 4.4,

3.4 in the 2023 edition);

---The noise limits for automatic edge trimming machines have been changed (see 4.5,

3.5 in the 2023 version);

---The noise limits for automatic yarn rolling machines have been changed (see 4.6,

1 Scope

GB/T 28245-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering how loud an automatic forging or stamping machine may be - the emission sound pressure level at the operator position, the measurement conditions, and the limits by machine type and size. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 28245-2012.

This document specifies the noise limits and measurement methods for automatic forging presses. This document applies to all types of automatic forging presses, including various types of thread rolling machines, spring coiling machines, nail making machines, automatic upsetting machines, and automatic... Edge trimming machine, automatic wire rolling machine, automatic bending machine.
