Foreword
GB/T 26978 "on-site assembly of vertical cylindrical flat steel LNG storage tank design and construction" is divided into the following five sections.
--- Part 1. General;
--- Part 2. metal member;
--- Part 3. Concrete components;
--- Part 4. heat insulating member;
--- Part 5. Testing, drying, replacement and cooling.
This section GB/T 26978-2011 Part 5.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
The partial modification using EN14620-5:2006 "on-site assembly of steel vertical cylindrical flat operating temperature is between 0 °C ~ -165 °C of Refrigerated liquefied gas storage tank design and construction - Part 5. Testing, drying, cooling and replacement "(in English).
The main differences are as follows.
Retains the LNG-related content, delete and LPG, ethylene, ethane and similar hydrocarbons and liquid ammonia, liquid Oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon storage and other related content.
Added "Appendix NA (informative)", which gives a list of the technical differences and the reasons for reference.
For ease of use, this section to legal units of measurement-based, non-statutory standard unit of measurement corresponding value in subsequent brackets.
Appendices A, NA in this section is informative appendix.

3 Terms and Definitions
Terms and definitions GB/T 26978.1-2011 established in this document apply.
4 Pressure test and pressure test
4.1 Hydrostatic Test
4.1.1 General provisions
Pressure test should be carried out, it should be through the hydrostatic test to prove.
--- Completion of the design and construction of storage tanks can be loaded memory media (no leakage);
Note. this provision does not apply to a film canister. After the film cans, welding work is completed, replacing ammonia leak testing. Brushing sensitivity ammonia tank on the inside of the weld Paint. Ammonia gas into the thermal insulation space, once the leak ammonia, gas and the role of varnish, color from yellow to blue. To verify the test results in Reference holes opened on the film, to ensure the normal use inspection methods. After closing all leaks, conduct another test. Paint the inside of the tank using Vacuum cleaning methods to remove. You can see NFA09-106 comments.
--- Foundation able to withstand loads generated within the tank medium.
4.1.2 Test requirements for various types of storage tanks
For different types of tanks, pressure test should be carried out in accordance with Table 1.
The Contractor shall prepare a technical requirements, including all experimental work to be carried out. Test results should be recorded in the file format.
