3 PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD
Within the period prescribed temperature and prescribed by quinoline dissolved sample, extract the quinoline insolubles, filtered and weighed amount of residue, thereby meter
Calculated quinoline insolubles content.
4 Reagents and materials
4.1 quinoline. AR.
Warning. after inhaling or swallowing risk of poisoning. It can irritate the skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
4.2 Toluene. AR.
Warning. Highly flammable, harmful by inhalation; away from sources of ignition, no smoking; not poured into the gutter, take precautions to prevent electrostatic discharge.
4.3 filter aid. diatomite type, does not contain organic compounds, neutral. Particle size range 1µm ~ 40µm, an average particle size of 6µm ~ 10µm.
It was prepared according to the following method. at 105 degrees C ~ 110 degrees C in, in an oven (5.4) drying 1h. Cool in a desiccator and weighed. Weighing
Check the difference until two consecutive weighing not more than 0.005g, backup and storage in a desiccator.
