Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the electrical and mechanical properties of long rod porcelain insulator element and the main dimensions. This standard applies to high voltage AC and DC Insulators for overhead transmission lines with a long rod porcelain insulator element, but also for the converter station or substation with similar structures.

This standard applies to the long rod porcelain insulator element, the metal attachment groove ends can be connected, it can be a ball and socket connection.

Note. This standard principles can be used for similar insulator units outside the scope of this standard, such as traction line insulators.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
