Scope
GB/T 26725-2023 is the English-translated version of 超细碳化钨粉.
GB/T 26725-2023 is the Chinese national standard for ultrafine tungsten carbide powder.
It divides the product into five grades, FWC001 to FWC005, according to specific surface area, and sets the technical requirements for specific surface area, for the content of As, Bi, Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, P, Pb, Sb, Sn and Ti, for total carbon and free carbon and for oxygen.
It also covers the test methods, the inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage, the accompanying documents and what the order form has to state.
It applies to ultrafine tungsten carbide powder used to make powder metallurgy products such as cemented carbide, and cites GB/T 4324, GB/T 5124.2, GB/T 5314, GB/T 19587, JB/T 6647 and YS/T 559.
It replaces GB/T 26725-2011, was issued on 6 August 2023 and has applied since 1 March 2024.
