Scope

GB/T 26607-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业用邻苯基苯酚.

GB/T 26607-2011 is the Chinese national standard for industrial o-phenylphenol, the preservative and intermediate with formula C12H10O.

It sets the requirements - the grades and their purity, melting point, moisture, ash and impurity limits - the test methods that prove them, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage.

It applies to o-phenylphenol produced from cyclohexanone by polymerisation and dehydrogenation. Chemical producers and their customers use it to agree on a grade and to check a delivery. Issued on 16 June 2011, it has applied since 1 November 2011.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the use of o-phenylphenol industrial requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to cyclohexanone as the main raw material, polymerization, dehydrogenation industrial o-phenylphenol.
