Scope

GB/T 26510-2011 is the English-translated version of 防水用塑性体改性沥青.

GB/T 26510-2011 is the Chinese national standard for plastic-modified bitumen used in waterproofing.

It gives the terms and definitions, the classification of the products, the technical requirements - softening point, penetration, low temperature flexibility, ageing and the behaviour of the binder in the membrane - the test methods, and then the provisions on packaging, marking and the rules for accepting a delivery.

It applies to bitumen modified with atactic polypropylene (APP) or with amorphous poly-alpha-olefin (APAO, APO). Membrane makers and roofing contractors use it. Issued on 12 May 2011, it has applied since 1 September 2011.

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions used plastic modified bitumen waterproofing, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, test packets Advertising, packaging, marking and delivery acceptance rules.

This standard applies to random polypropylene (APP) or amorphous poly-alpha- olefin (APAO, APO) modified asphalt modifier produced.

This standard does not apply to other modified asphalt.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 18378 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Plastic modified bitumen

Asphalt and APP, APAO or APO class plastic material melt blended mixture obtained.

Category 4 Plastic modified bitumen waterproofing type I and II.
