Scope
GB/T 26366-2021 is the English-translated version of 二氧化氯消毒剂卫生要求.
GB/T 26366-2021 is the Chinese national standard on hygiene for chlorine dioxide disinfectants that are aqueous solutions when they are applied.
It sets the requirements for the raw materials, among them sodium chlorite, sodium chlorate, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, citric acid, tartaric acid and sodium bisulfate, and the physical and chemical requirements for the product: active ingredient content, pH value, tablet weight error and disintegration time.
It also fixes the microbial killing indicators, the fields of application and the methods of use, the inspection methods, including the content determination of Annex A, and the rules for transport, storage, packaging, labels and instructions.
Disinfectant makers and disease control laboratories use it. It replaces GB/T 26366-2010, was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.
