1 Scope

This document specifies the image exchange format for biometric identification or verification technology using human palmprint images, which can be used for palmprint images

Data exchange and comparison.

This document specifies the content and measurement units used for palmprint image exchange. The interchange format consists of mandatory and optional options, including scan parameters, compressed or uncompressed image specifications, and vendor-specific information.

Information compiled and formatted in accordance with this document may be recorded on machine-readable media or transmitted on data communications equipment transmission.

This document also specifies compliance test methods, test assertions and test procedures applicable to the above data record exchange formats. include.

This document is applicable to palmprint biometric image data exchange in the process of storage, recording and transmission by palmprint biometric identification manufacturers.

At the same time, it is suitable for testing institutions, end users and palmprint biometric identification manufacturers to conduct compliance testing.
