Scope

GB/T 26200-2010 is the English-translated version of 应急呼叫器.

GB/T 26200-2010 specifies the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage requirements for the emergency pager.

Clause 1 applies it to household emergency pagers connected to the telephone network by wire and to emergency calling devices that work over the mobile phone network.

Clause 3 opens the terms and definitions with the emergency pager itself, described as a device for indoor and outdoor use that is connected to the communication line of an operator and can send out emergency call information or signal; the draft breaks off in the middle of that definition, at the word electronic, and shows nothing of the clauses that follow.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the emergency pager, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to the telephone network via a wired household emergency pager and mobile phone network using the Emergency Call Called device.
