Scope
GB/T 26144-2010 is the English-translated version of 法兰和对夹连接钢制衬氟塑料蝶阀.
GB/T 26144-2010 specifies the structural types, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, marking, painting, packaging, storage and transport of fluoroplastic-lined steel butterfly valves with flanged and wafer connections.
It applies to valves of nominal pressure up to PN16 and nominal size DN50 to DN1200, for temperatures up to 150 °C and low-viscosity corrosive gases or liquids such as acids, alkalis and salts, with a liquid flow velocity below 3 m/s at full opening.
The requirements cover shell strength, corrosion resistance and sealing, operation at the maximum pressure differential, hygiene for drinking water, food and pharmaceutical use, and the design of the body (face-to-face dimensions, flange tolerances, minimum seat passage, minimum wall thickness by DN and PN, lining thickness from 2.5 mm to 5.0 mm), disc and stem, bearings and shaft seals, operating mechanisms and the internal design of the lining, including radiused corners and continuous butt welds ground flush.
Materials and testing refer to GB, GB/T, HG/T and JB/T standards for steels, castings, fluoroplastic resins, spark and vacuum resistance testing of linings and pressure testing of valves.
