Scope
GB/T 25811-2010 is the English-translated version of 染料试验用标准漂白涤纶布.
GB/T 25811-2010 specifies the process requirements and specification, technical requirements, grading, test methods, acceptance rules, packaging and marking of the standard bleached polyester fabric used as the substrate in dyeing tests of dyestuffs; it applies to evaluating the quality of this fabric and to its processing and manufacture.
The fabric is singed, desized, scoured, bleached and heat-set, but not calendered, sized, blued or optically brightened, and is woven from 13 tex yarn of 1.5 dtex, 38 mm semi-dull polyester staple fibre.
Technical requirements cover appearance, width (110 cm to 200 cm), warp and weft density, pH of the aqueous extract (6.0 to 7.5), whiteness (75 ± 5) and batch-to-batch dyeing consistency (shade difference no more than slight, depth variation within ± 5 %), with grading into conforming and non-conforming product.
Test methods refer to GB/T standards for width, density, pH and whiteness, and use Disperse brilliant blue E-4R dyed by the high-temperature high-pressure method for the dyeing effect; an informative annex gives the quality requirements for the raw yarn and grey fabric.
