1 Scope

This standard specifies the lockable gas spring (hereinafter referred to as gas spring) terms and definitions, marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules

And labeling, packaging, transportation and storage requirements.

This standard applies to nitrogen or other inert gas as the energy storage medium angle adjusting work lockable gas springs and locking gas in addition to the seat lifter
